Mountaineers Move is starting a new pilot project,  5% Healthier, this fall.  Research suggests that just a 5% improvement in your physical measures can result in a significant change.

Mountaineer Move’s goal is to offer free telehealth personal coaching across a 10-week period to faculty and staff aimed to improve WVU's general health. The sessions will be conducted by trained senior exercise physiology students.

Validated at-home assessments will be taken pre- and post-training protocol to show improvements. Assessments include: range of motion, functional testing, weight measurements and a stress questionnaire. Along with the individualized training, participants will receive weekly health education lessons on 13 different topics.

5% Healthier will provide support, accountability and personalized exercise coaching needed to get at least 5% healthier this fall.

Due to the nature of the pilot program, there are a very limited number of spots available, so sign up quickly with this Google form.
