Accept new certificate to connect to WVU.Encrypted or eduroam beginning July 13

To connect any mobile device to the WVU.Encrypted or eduroam wireless networks after 6 a.m. July 13 you will need to accept a new security certificate. This DigiCert certificate is safe to install and will only need to be accepted once. Generally, the prompt will appear as a pop-up.

ITS is making this change, which ensures a secure wireless connection, between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. July 13. When you receive the prompt to accept it, however, will depend on when you next connect to the on-campus Wi-Fi.

If you do not return to campus until August, you may not see the change until then. You may also need to update your WVU.Encrypted password with your current WVU Login password, which may have changed over the summer.
