The School of Theatre & Dance is offering a virtual dance academy July 13-17 to replace its usual summer offerings. Faculty from across the country will offer intermediate/advanced level movement classes three times a day in disciplines including ballet, jazz, modern, improvisation and choreography, contemporary, hip-hop and Gaga.
Classes will be taught via Zoom and only registered dancers will be allowed to enter each session. The week will also include three non-movement evening sessions. Each evening session will be moderated by members of the faculty and will include opportunities for participants to ask questions and participate in engaging discussion.
Participants can take all or select courses. The one-time set registration fee is $150. Registration will be open to all dancers of all ages and levels.
Deadline for registration and payment is July 8.
