New Student Orientation kicked off earlier this week, virtually welcoming all our new students to the Mountaineer family.
Students will move through a self-paced, virtual platform in which they can learn all about WVU and what to expect. The platform should take them about two hours to complete and should be completed no later than June 20.
After competition of this virtual platform, students will have a pre-advising phone call with an Orientation Leader, where they will discuss things like GEFs, Degreeworks and Schedule Builder. This is followed by an appointment with a professional adviser where students will finalize their fall schedules. Students and their families will also have the chance to participate in a number of webinars and virtual events throughout the summer relating to Housing/Dining, Student Financial Services, Honors, the Parents Club and more.
