Shared Research Facilities is targeting a June 1 re-opening date for PIs and their approved users.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, only select users will be approved for access as identified by PIs. No training will occur at this time. PIs who require a technique for which they do not have a trained user may request a manager to run the analyses and the assistance fee will be waived. Approved users will schedule instruments via iLab as before but by Thursday of the week prior to the desired usage to allow time for college authorities to approve the user’s presence in the building. Users and PIs must have completed the Research Office pledge and agree to follow all Research Office guidelines as well as SRF procedures. Full details are available at the SRF’s website.
