A WVU Community Engagement grant of $3,724 was awarded to the School of Music Community Music Program for the purchase of six Rees Harpsicle harps.
This grant application was submitted by Karen Taddie, director of WVU Community music and conceived by Taddie and Christine Mazza, adjunct harp professor.
These harps will be used for Community Music Students and beginner workshops at the Loulie, Valerie and William Canady Creative Arts Center and throughout the states of West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
