Braxton Tower mailroom temporarily closed through Wednesday

Evansdale Residential Complex

Due to the positive case of COVID-19 in the Evansdale Residential Complex, the Braxton Tower Mailroom has been temporarily closed to package and mail pickup through Wednesday (April 15).

Packages from all carriers and U.S. Postal Service mail will continue to be received by the mailroom during the closure.

In part due to the early and effective actions taken by the Braxton Tower Mailroom, there has been no known direct exposure of COVID-19 within the mailroom or to mailroom employees. However, as a cautionary measure, mailroom employees were tested for COVID-19 yesterday and will quarantine until test results are known.

The Monongalia County Health Dept. does not recommend individuals who picked up mail from the mailroom be tested at this time.
