Payroll offices closed to in-person visitors; moving certain services online

To prevent the potential for community spread of COVID-19, the West Virginia University Payroll office at One Waterfront Place will be closed to in-person visitors effective immediately until further notice. 

Employees can continue to contact Payroll by email at payroll@mail.wvu.edu. Employees also may continue to submit direct deposit changes and tax withholding changes by completing the required forms and sending them to Payroll using Filelocker.   

Direct Deposit Changes

Employees may change their direct deposit information by completing the direct deposit form. The completed form and the appropriate bank documentation should be sent to Karen Dice and Susan Delaney using Filelocker. Please contact Payroll at payroll@mail.wvu.edu or 304-293-3379 ext. 1 with any questions on how to submit your changes. No changes will be accepted if sent through email. 

Tax Withholding Changes

Employees may continue to submit tax withholding changes using Filelocker. Visit the Tax Services website for the federal and state withholding forms. Please contact Tax Services at tax@mail.wvu.edu if you have questions completing the form. The completed forms should be sent to Kimberly Foley. No changes will be accepted if sent through email.

Correction Check Requests

Complete the correction check request form and send all correction check requests to Payroll by email payroll@mail.wvu.edu.

Employment Verifications

Requests for employment verifications should be emailed to payroll@mail.wvu.edu. All requests must include the employee’s release form. Please include a call-back number if the verification should be completed by phone.
