PRT and Mountain Line schedule changes

The West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit will operate on an adjusted schedule during spring break. PRT service will end at 10:15 p.m. today (March 13) and will resume at 6:30 a.m. on March 23. The PRT will operate like normal throughout the week of suspended classes and online instruction.

In addition to the PRT’s closure during the break, some Mountain Line routes also will have adjusted schedules during the break. These changes will remain until WVU returns to face-to-face instruction on campus.

  • Campus PM (Route 1) will not operate beginning Friday, March 13.
  • The West Run Express (Route 30) bus will end service at 5:10 p.m. from Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, with its last stop being at the West Run Complex. West Run Late Night service will not run on:
    • Friday, March 13;
    • Saturday, March 14;
    • Thursday, March 19;
    • Friday, March 20;
    • and Saturday, March 21.

West Run Late Night service will resume on Monday, March 22.

  • The Blue and Gold (Route 38) bus will end service at 6:30 p.m. beginning Monday, March 16.
  • Beechurst Express (Route 39) will not operate beginning Monday, March 16.
  • Additional service has been added for the Grey Line (Route 29) running to Pittsburgh between Friday, March 13, and Sunday, March 22. Seats are still available. Reservations can be made online or by calling 304-296-2869.
