How can you make West Virginia a little bit more wild and a whole lot more wonderful? We’re hoping that you’ll bring your answer to this question to the Adventure Recreation Pitch Competition, which focuses on ideas relating to West Virginia tourism and recreation.
The pitch competition will take place March 5 from 5 - 7 p.m. in room 413 of the Evansdale Crossing. This competition is open to all, but only six applicants will be selected to participate. Participants must be able to attend the event in March. The Adventure Recreation Pitch Competition will consist of a 5-minute pitch followed by a 5-minute Q&A session from the judges.
The event, hosted by the WVU LaunchLab, will be sponsored by Adventure WV. The grand total of prizes being awarded at the competition is $3,000. First place will take home $1,500, second place $1,000 and third place $500. The applications are now open and will remain open until Feb. 9. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity.
