WVU men's lacrosse will begin its 50th season Saturday (Feb. 1) with a home scrimmage against the Senators of Davis & Elkins College. Faceoff is at 2 p.m. on the WVU Rec Center turf.
The Mountaineers are led by junior co-captain Brandon White. Brandon joins team President and co-captain Jake Purdy on defense. WVU's other captains include offensive stalwarts Cory Reed at midfield and Matt Paul at attack. The Mountaineers are coming off their first winning season since joining the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference.
The 2020 schedule includes a national slate including games against Florida State, Auburn, Texas, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech.
