Dear Faculty and Staff Members:
You have an important role in the communication process if students come to you with questions about their WVU bills. Should you need to reference this information, we have created an Info for Faculty and Staff webpage explaining the billing process, timelines and how students were informed of their financial responsibility to WVU.
Important dates to remember:
Feb.1: Students will have until Feb. 1 to pay their balance down to less than $1,000 or they will be removed from classes at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 3
Feb.3: Drop date for students who owe $1,000 and do not have a payment plan in place to cover their balance due.
Feb. 7, at noon: Deadline for students who were dropped to pay a $250 reinstatement fee and bring their balance to $999 or less to be reinstated.
If students take these steps they will be fully reinstated and have full access to eCampus, the Student Recreation Center, etc.
Students and their families have website access to details about how they can pay their bill and/or register for a payment plan, and what they need to know about their account.
