In the spirit of the Valentine’s Day holiday, the WVU LaunchLab in conjunction with the WVU IDEA Hub will host the I Heart IDEA Hub Pitch Challenge Feb. 13 from 5-7 p.m. in room 413 of the Evansdale Crossing. The applications are now open and will remain open until Jan. 26.
The purpose of this event is to bring together various IDEA Hub partners to compete in a central innovative competition. Students, faculty, staff and community members will have the opportunity to represent their respective IDEA Hub partner and go head to head with one another in this pitch competition.
Six applicants will be selected to participate and those selected will be announced on Jan. 31. Participants must be able to attend the event in February. The I Heart IDEA Hub Pitch Challenge will consist of a five-minute pitch followed by a five-minute Q & A session from the judges.
The grand total of prizes being awarded is $2,500 First place will take home $1,250, second place $750, and third place $500.
