West Virginia University will host two commencement ceremonies Saturday (Dec. 21) at the WVU Coliseum.
Nesha Sanghavi, the owner and president of women’s collegiate brands UG Apparel and chicka-d, will be the featured speaker during the 10 a.m. ceremony.
Dr. Patrice Harris, the first African American woman to become the president of the American Medical Association, will deliver the keynote address and be awarded a presidential honorary degree during the 2 p.m. ceremony.

John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and WVU Reed College of Media students will graduate at the 10 a.m. ceremony. Students from all other colleges and schools will graduate at 2 p.m.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Maryanne Reed will present the degree candidates at the morning and afternoon ceremonies.
Note: A clear bag policy will be in effect during Commencement exercises.
Parking: Parking is free at the WVU Coliseum; overflow lots are available behind the Creative Arts Center.
