School of Music presents ‘Sounds of the Season’ Sunday

"Sounds of the Season" will be held in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the Creative Arts Center Sunday (Dec. 8) at 2 p.m.

From big bands to small ensembles, talented School of Music students will take you on a journey through the holiday season, all from your seat.

"Sounds of the Season" features WVU Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and multiple small ensembles, including a flute choir and brass quintet. Familiar tunes like "Greensleeves" and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" will delight all listeners. Many cultures will be represented in the concert, with songs on the program including "Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your head," "Umoja: The First Day of Kwanzaa," and "Dreidel Dance."
