The Morgantown Community Orchestra, supported by the School of Music's Community Music Program, will present its Winter Concert "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on Saturday (Dec. 7).
In cooperation with St. Francis Church, the 7:30 p.m. concert is free and open to the public and will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, in Morgantown.
The Orchestra, under the direction of Andre Januario, is a group of area amateur and professional musicians, college students, middle school and high school students, who rehearse once a week to share their love of music-making.
The Orchestra will feature works by Handel, Brahms, Bartok, Borodin, Rutter and more. The Orchestra will also be joined by the Women's Chorus of WVU’S School of Music for this concert.
