Dollars raised in the WVU United Way campaign stay here, with money going toward the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties. That money funds 46 programs at 24 agencies in the two counties, as well as United Way internal programming, such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, 211 call service, and the Family Resource Network. The United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in Mon and Preston counties.
This year’s overall United Way campaign goal is $1.345 million. WVU’s goal is $250,000.
