Students and faculty are invited to join the West Virginia Manufacturing Extension Partnership and the WVU Mining and Industrial Extension, the LaunchLab and those participating for an evening of innovation during the Manufacturing Day Pitch Competition Oct. 8. Participants will be sharing their manufacturable product idea to a panel of judges along with the audience in attendance. Both the judges’ scores and the audience’s vote will be taken into account when selecting the winners of the competition.

The pitch competition will take place from 5 - 7 p.m. in room 413 of the Evansdale Crossing. First place will take home $750, second place $500 and third place $250. In addition, winners will receive 10 hours of consultation with WVMEP.

Don’t miss out on all the fun. Come out to see what exciting things WVU students are creating and vote for your favorite pitch.
