Chambers College Distinguished Speaker Series welcomes Anthony Gregory

Anthony Gregory, Vice President of Ground Operations for Southwest Airlines, will be on campus for Chambers College Distinguished Speaker Series Oct. 7 at 4 p.m. in Ming Hsieh Hall (Room G21).

In his current role, Gregory leads a team of more than 20,000 employees in pursuit of providing the best hospitality in the airline industry. Southwest Airlines serves more than 130 million customers annually, carrying more customers in the U.S. than any other airline, and is renowned for its customer service, operating efficiency and corporate culture. The company was ranked #8 in Fortune's list of the World's Most Admired Companies and has been ranked #1 in the U.S. Department of Transportation's Customer Satisfaction survey more than any other airline.

Gregory joined Southwest in 2007 and previously served in the company's Finance and Network Planning departments. He earned two graduate degrees from WVU, an M.A. in Economics in 2007 and an M.B.A. in 2006. Anthony earned his Bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2005. He resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Megan and their three children.
