The Center for Resilient Communities will hold its first Community Leadership and Social Action Fellowship in the Center for Resilient Communities. We are now recruiting our first cohort of students to begin their fellowships in January 2020, and are particularly interested in supporting students of color, women, LGBTQ+ and first-generation college students.
The CLSA Fellowship is intended for undergraduate students who have potential for contributing to transformative social change in Appalachia by cultivating their action research capacities.
The goal of the Center for Resilient Communities is to cultivate a collaborative network of action researchers and grassroots leaders who are working to advance justice, equity and social action in Appalachia. The CLSA fellowship program contributes to our mission by providing young leaders a space to build confidence and capacity in their search for creative solutions to local and global problems. The CLSA Fellowship is made possible by the generous support of the One Foundation.
