Career Services will host over 60 companies on Wednesday’s Career & Internship Fair

Career Internship Fair

WVU students and alumni are encouraged to attend the WVU Career & Internship Fair Sept. 25 from 10a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. More than 60 nationwide employers from diverse industries will be recruiting for internships and full-time job opportunities.

Participating employers include: Coca-Cola, FBI, Generation West Virginia, Newport News Shipbuilding, Peace Corps, Target and more.

Career fairs are not just an information gathering event. Some employers will stay on-campus the next day to interview students that they met during the career fair. Students need to arrive ready to network—this includes dressing professionally, having a polished resume and a 30 to 60 second elevator pitch ready to deliver.

Professional attire is required. A complete list of participating employers is available on Handshake.

To prepare, Career Services is offering resume reviews and career fair prep Sept. 18, 19 and 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair Commons.
