WVU faculty to perform in Pittsburgh production

WVU School of Theatre and Dance faculty Irene Alby will perform Julius Caesar in Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Park's all female production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

The play opens this weekend and runs Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. through the month of September in different parks around the city. Performances are free and other actors include notable Pittsburgh actors including Shammen McCune as Brutus, Lisa-Ann Goldsmith as Cassius and Harper York as Mark Antony and director Elena Alexandratos.  

The company is in its fifteenth year and Jennifer Tober, the artistic director of the company (who is being honored for her artistic contributions to the city of Pittsburgh) is also an MFA Acting Alumnus of WVU School of Theatre and Dance.
