Join the College of Media Wednesday (Sept. 4) from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the Media Innovation Center for a panel event “Women Beyond Bars.”
Three formerly incarcerated women, as well as Lida Shepherd, who leads a team of formerly incarcerated people working for justice reform in West Virginia, will share their experiences. This panel is part of a larger reporting and advocacy communications project between the WVU Reed College of Media and the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
