The WVU Internal Audit Office hosted the 2019 Big XII Internal Audit Conference May 19-22. Internal Auditors from the Big 12 member schools gathered at the Morgantown Marriott for professional development, the opportunity to exchange best practice ideas and to discuss current and emerging risk areas facing higher education. The conference featured speakers from BerryDunn, R.L. Townsend & Associates, Federal Bureau of Investigation and various WVU departments across campus. The group also took several tours around campus, including the Downtown Campus, WVU Crime Scene Complex and Laboratories, the WVU Coliseum, and Mountaineer Field. This was the first time Big 12 Internal Auditors had visited West Virginia and WVU.
