Yuri's Night is a global celebration of humanity's past, present and future in space, named after Yuri Gagarin, the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961.
The Department of Physics and Astronomy and Department of World Languages, Literatures and Linguistics are teaming up to host Yuri's Night at the WVU Planetarium Friday (April 12) at 6 p.m. The event includes planetarium shows, telescope viewing, lectures, kids activities and more.
