Learn to play an instrument that has been booming in popularity. Beginner ukulele classes start Sunday and Tuesday, Feb. 3 and 5, through the Community Music Program, at the Creative Arts Center.
Learn how to read music, count rhythms, pick melodies and strum chords on the ukulele. Learn traditional Hawaiian and American folk songs and popular songs of today. This class, designed for individuals ages 10 to adult with little to no prior musical experience, will be offered on Sundays or Tuesdays over eight weeks at two different levels: Beginner and Intermediate.
