Mon Hills Records is set to release Clinton Collins’ new record: “Even on Your Darkest Days” in March. Collins’ newest album was produced by Travis Stimeling, a professor of Musicology at WVU.

The West Virginia native channels his Appalachian roots with his unique blend of southern soul, rock and roll, and Americana sound. Collins has won numerous awards for his songwriting, such as The Next Great West Virginia Song Contest, Newsong Festival Songwriter, and Aiming High Rocketboys Songwriting Contest.

Collins has released several works over the years, including two albums, and hopes for his newest album “Even On Your Darkest Days” to bring listeners together using compelling lyricism that appeals to the emotional complexity of day-to-day life.

“We are excited to have Clinton on the label, he is a talented songwriter and performer. He has a passion for his musical style that we believe is a great fit for what we do to elevate West Virginia musicians and the cultural music scene in the state,” Mon Hills General Manager Joshua Swiger said.

“Even on Your Darkest Days” will be available online at iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify and all of your streaming and download services. The CD can be ordered online at www.monhillsrecords.com and will be available at regional outlets this Spring.

To hear more from this artist attend his next performance at The Spare Oom on Feb. 16 in Princeton.
