If you are incorporating innovation, creative thinking and problem solving in your classrooms or laboratories, the IDEA HUB wants to hear from you.
While the IDEA HUB aims to help elevate WVU’s integrated web of entrepreneurs, inventors and innovators, we are beginning to take stock of the faculty, staff and students who are applying innovation in the classroom, laboratory and beyond. We ask that you take a few minutes of your time to fill out this survey by Dec. 20 in order to help us capture your work and the work of your students.
To demonstrate the scope of innovative ideas, leading-edge inventions, working prototypes and unique business ventures across the University, we encourage you and your students to consider playing an active role in WVU’s second annual Demo Day April 25.
Your classrooms and students can engage through:
End of year capstone projects
Interactive presentations
Class demonstrations
Class design work
Display work
Prototype demonstrations or laboratory research
Class Competitions
Application of cross-departmental collaboration
Extra credit for students who attend events
Only as ONE WVU can we build an innovation ecosystem that drives bold transformative initiatives. By infusing the innovative mindset and showcasing dynamic results inside and outside the classroom or lab, we can improve the education and prosperity of West Virginia communities statewide and beyond.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill out the survey, considering to take an active role in Demo Day and for your continued commitment to instill innovation across WVU.
