The Violence Research Awareness Association and the Research Center on Violence are hosting an event as part of the White Ribbon Campaign Thursday (Dec. 6) in the Mountainlair's Shenandoah Room. Join us at 2 p.m. for a screening of the film Polytechnique. A discussion will follow.
The White Ribbon Campaign is a global movement of men working to end male violence against women. It was formed by a group of pro-feminist men in London, Ontario, in Nov. 1991 as a response to the École Polytechnique massacre of female students by Marc Lépine in 1989.
