WVU Press author Tim Jelfs to present on ‘Culture and Waste in the 1980s’

WVU Press and the WVU Humanities Center welcome Tim Jelfs from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands Friday (Nov. 2) at 4 p.m in Colson hall 130. Jelfs is the author of WVU Press's book "The Argument about Things in the 1980s: Goods and Garbage in an Age of Neoliberalism," which analyzes work by Spike Lee, Marilynne Robinson, Nicholson Baker, and others to contribute to of-the-moment debates in environmental humanities and cultural studies. Stephanie Foote of the WVU English Department will introduce Jelfs's talk.
