2018 LGBTQ+ Advocacy and Inclusion Week at the WVU Health Sciences Center

SHAPE (Student Healthcare Alliance for Promoting Equality), the LGBTQ+ Center, and many University departments (Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, ENT, Chesnut Ridge Center, Student Health, Pediatrics, the Divisions of Internal Medicine) are sponsoring a week-long lecture series in the Health Sciences Center Oct. 8 -12 focusing on LGBTQ health.

The goals of this event are to address sexual and gender minority health disparities and promote advocacy and inclusion for LGBTQ patients in our health system. All lectures are open to WVU students, faculty and staff, and the surrounding community.

The first 50 to RSVP will receive food for the noon lectures.
