Rocky Habitat Restoration Project Event Day

Adventure WV students sitting in the woods.

Volunteers will come together from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 7 to help restore one of the most popular climbing areas in West Virginia. Students will work together to arrange logs that were gathered by other volunteers earlier in the week to create trail boundaries. Wood mulch will also be used to restore the ground cover above the rocks and to protect the trees root systems. General trail work and maintenance will be done as well.
