Career Services hosts more than 80 companies for Career & Internship Fair

People at a career fair.

Students and alumni are encouraged to attend the WVU Career & Internship Fair Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. More than 80 nationwide employers from diverse industries, government agencies and non-profit sectors will be recruiting for summer internships and full-time job opportunities.

Employers include: Acadia Healthcare, Antero, Apple, FBI, Highmark Health, Peace Corps, PepsiCo, U.S. Department of State and more.

Career fairs are not just an information gathering event. Many employers will stay on-campus the next day to interview students that they met during the fair. Students need to arrive ready to network—this includes dressing professionally, having a polished resume and a 30 to 60 second elevator pitch ready to deliver.

Professional attire is required. A complete list of participating employers is available on MountaineerTRAK.

To prepare, Career Services is offering resume reviews and career fair prep on Tuesday, September 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Mountainlair Commons.
