This Friday (Sept. 21), the Student Society of Landscape Architects will participate in PARK(ing) Day, a global movement to promote the importance of urban green spaces by encouraging students, designers and community members to transform metered parking spaces into temporary small parks, or parklets.

The WVU SSLA parklet will be set up on High Street, between Tailpipes and Jimmy John’s, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is encouraged to visit.
