Hand to serve in leadership role with ACSM interest group

Professor Gregory Hand has accepted a three-year term as Chair of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Interest Group for the American College of Sports Medicine. The Epi/Bios Interest Group is a forum for focused discussion, activities, debate and networking among ACSM members. The chair activities include developing sessions and group meetings for the ACSM Annual Meeting, establishing and promoting annual awards for scientific work presented at the Annual Meeting, hosting off-site events, producing educational materials for other ACSM members and the general public, and fundraising/development and budget management for the Interest group.
