Event organizers invite WVU energy faculty and students to showcase their natural gas projects and research while networking with industry leaders.  The showcase is also an excellent opportunity for students to meet potential employers.

Submission Deadlines:

  • Sept. 25 - Submissions Due
  • Oct. 1-3 - Submission Selections Announced
  • Oct. 9 - Details provided to selected participants

If selected, participants will receive a complimentary day pass. For those wanting to attend the entire conference, there is a $95 student rate and a $375 academic/faculty rate.

The Shale Insight conference is a leading forum for public-private dialogue on shale development.  The Pittsburgh event includes three days of pre-conference workshops, technical and public affairs sessions, national keynote addresses, and an exhibit hall integrated with general and breakout session programming and networking lounges.
