Two Children's Choral classes are about to begin. Morgantown Children’s Choral class welcomes kids from 7-to-10 years of age to choral singing. And Minisingers will accept children ages 4-to-7. These courses will provide young singers with the opportunity to learn music reading, and will offer thorough contact to the musical score, thus preparing children for a successful musical education. The classes will introduce all sorts of musical styles and genres, and can act as ‘stepping stones’ for future participation in the prestigious Morgantown Youth Choir. Both courses meet on Mondays beginning Sept. 10, Minisingers at 4:30 p.m., Children's Choral at 5:10 p.m. at the WVU Creative Arts Center. The two choral classes will be offered performance time on MYC Youth Choir concerts and other possible performance events throughout the term.
