Join WVU’s LaunchLab for the Welcome Back Pitch & Showcase Sept. 6, 2018 in Evansdale Crossing, Room 413 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Our pop-up pitch is an informal two-minute presentation in which participants will provide a problem and solution to a judge. The theme of the pitch will revolve around West Virginia Forward. Learn more about West Virginia Forward.
Current LaunchLab clients will be showcasing their innovations to the public. The audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite client at the pitch event.
Here’s the information that pop-up pitch participants will need to know: Participants can work by themselves or as a part of a team. Pitchers will not be able to utilize PowerPoint slides during the two-minute timeframe. Those pitching should be sure to prepare ahead of time, because they won’t have time to do so at the event!
Those who pitch will be entered to win a $25 gift card which will randomly be drawn from a bowl. The winner of the competition will be determined by a judge and will win a $50 gift card.
