Senior staff members of the West Virginia University Police Department were promoted Monday (June 4). Capt. Brian Hoxter, Chief W. P. Chedester, Maj. Phil Scott and Capt. Sherry St. Clair, received pins denoting their promotions, which came with several firsts, including the first female and first African-American captains.
