To this end, the Division of Talent and Culture’s Talent Strategy team is offering training on motivation-based interviewing for faculty and staff across WVU’s Morgantown campus.

MBI is a simple, yet highly effective interviewing method for identifying top talent. And through this training, hiring managers and search committee members will learn how to:
Identify potential high performers;
assess an applicant’s attitude, motivation, passion and career fit;
determine locus of control and skill level;
write great MBI interview questions and scoring techniques; and
utilize MBI tools and resources for future searches.
