Students from the WVU Occupational Therapy program participated in the West Virginia Occupational Therapy Association Legislative Day Tuesday (Feb. 13), talking to state legislators about ways that Occupational Therapy practitioners can address the health of state residents. The students focused on Senate Bill 273, in which OTs participate in the treatment of patients with chronic pain; and Senate Bill 11, outlining Occupational Therapy practitioners' role in students' returning to learn following concussion. The WVU Division of Occupational Therapy has participated in this event for more than a decade.
