New PCards to be issued to current cardholders across WVU

As you may know, the State of West Virginia recently awarded U.S. Bank with the bank provider contract for the State's Purchasing Card Program. U.S. Bank replaces Citi as the primary bank provider.

Later this month, the WVU Procurement Contracting and Payment Services team will be issuing new U.S. Bank PCards to current cardholders across the University. As with the previous cards, the U.S. Bank cards will continue to be Visa branded.

The new cards along with setup instructions will be distributed via the cardholder's Expert Business Office. Cardholders must activate their new cards before Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The Citi PCards will be deactivated once payments for any outstanding purchases have been resolved. Cardholders should update any accounts tied to their Citi card once their U.S. Bank card is activated.

Note: As part of this changeover, the purchasing limits for some cardholders may have been adjusted based on their prior expenditures. Contact the Procurement Contracting and Payment Services team if you have any questions or need to increase your limit.
