Special election underway for BOG Classified Staff Representative

Voting is now underway in the 2018 special election to fill the recently-vacated Classified Staff Board of Governors Representative position.

The online voting period began Jan. 24, and will end Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. The online voting system will only be available during this time period. The preliminary election results will be released Feb. 1.

As a reminder, any full-time regular or part-time regular classified employee working for WVU as of Jan. 3 is eligible to participate in the special election process. This includes all eligible employees from WVU Tech, Potomac State College and the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Charleston Division.

Note: This election is for classified staff only. Non-Classified, faculty, FE/AP, temporary and student employees are not permitted to participate in the election process.
