Yoga for Wellbeing class announced

People meditating

Yoga for Wellbeing can help harmonize the body, mind, spirit and breath and bring a state of peace and ease for those feeling pulled in too many directions with no time to take care of themselves.

This class uses mindful movement with a focus on proper alignment, breaking poses down into easily digestible parts and providing modifications to help you experience each pose in a way that best works with your body. A holistic yoga approach including asana (poses), pranayama (breath), mindfulness, meditation, and yogic philosophy is woven into each class in an easy-to-understand, personal way.

Appropriate for all levels, whether you’ve been intimidated to try yoga, or are a seasoned practitioner looking for a complete approach to yoga and wellbeing.

Classes will take place in the Health & Education Building, Rm. 101, Tuesdays and Thursdays Feb, 6 - April 26.
