WVCTSI will host a training session highlighting the TriNetX Clinical Data Platform. During this session, TriNetX representatives will instruct attendees on a variety of topics including the background of TriNetX, the consultation request process and best practices, the export ID process, and data expansion projects. Attendees will also view a demonstration of the platform that shows users how to create their own database queries for project feasibility.
TriNetX is available to WVCTSI researchers at West Virginia University. This system This system contains clinical data on over 1.2 million unique patients in the WVU system. This data can be refined by diagnoses, medications prescribed, labs and lab results, demographics, and procedures. TriNetX also allows pharmaceutical companies to study local patient counts to bring the most needed clinical trials to West Virginia.
This training will take place Thursday (Dec. 14) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room 2157 of the WVU Health Sciences Center North. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Megha Gandhi at mgandhi2@hsc.wvu.edu.
