We are aware that some WVU employees did have not have their paychecks deposited overnight for payment today (Nov. 24) as expected.
Our goal is to get the deposits made today (Nov. 24). We believe at this point that the deposits will be made no later than Monday (Nov. 27).
We understand that a Monday deposit may cause a hardship for some of our employees. To the extent we are unable to make deposits today, we will be working on reasonable options to assist employees affected by this unfortunate situation.
We have identified the problem, and the state and University are working to correct it. We are reaching out to the banks to get the issues resolved as quickly as possible and I will keep you as informed as more information becomes available.
