The 2016 election and the first year of the Trump administration have disrupted many longstanding norms and conventions, and altered the way that citizens, politicians, and the media view and evaluate policy-making. As the anniversary of the election approaches, the Honors College Faculty Lecture Series will feature two of the fellows reflecting on the year at 7 p.m., Wednesday (Nov. 1) in the Rhododendron Room of the Mountainlair. Professors Joshua Arthurs from the Department of History and Erik Herron from the Department of Political Science will discuss how this new political climate has affected student--and faculty--engagement in the study of history and politics.
