2nd Annual Food System Symposium

The Second Annual Food System Symposium will be held Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center.

This free event focuses on connecting the dots between farmers through the supply chain to the end wholesale buyer. Attendees will hear experiences from growers on scaling up production and learn what is required to sell to distributors. The afternoon portion of the symposium will be a speed networking session to connect foodservice directors, buyers, growers, producers, distributors, cooperatives and restaurateurs to engage and support each other while brainstorming forward contracts.
