University community invited to chemistry-art opening

The Community Engagement of Science Through Art program is a one-month collaborative effort of six (two each) chemists, engineers and sculptors. During their month "residency" the students are tasked with the design, construct and installation of a science-art piece that engages the local community in chemistry. The 2017 CESTA team invites the community to attend the unveiling of their installation titled "Object D4h" today (June 23) at 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Evansdale Library. Light refreshments will be served.
