The West Virginia Science and Research division of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission announces the availability of funding for full-time faculty members or research professors in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Each award is up to five years in length with up to $1.3 million dollars expected in grant funding over 5 years. Projects funded by the Research Challenge Grant should assist faculty researchers in their ability to successfully compete for external funding on a national basis by providing incentives to increase capacity.
